Prithvi

Once, Prithvi was the Guardian of the Feywild and Keeper of the Bramble, protector of The Brambleblade that the Elves of Yore used to drive dragons from the Elven forests, and steward of the Brambletree that gave eternal life to the rest of the fey forest.
But now the arch-fey dryad is like a shadow of her former self, who gains strength through the suffering souls of others and has been bonded by some dark force to poison her own domain. She has been twisted into an abhorrent and baleful version of her former self, and from her heart has spread an oozing black ichor that is sickening the whole of the Feywild and turning it slowly into The Shademurk bog.
A similar poison has spread to the old, enchanted forests of Yore, too, including The Old Margreve Forest, spreading outward from some unknown source of evil at the centre of The Festering Marshes. It is as though the Shadow Plane has somehow taken a hold of the Feywild and is gradually suffocating it, but whether it is the Shadowmancers of Qualimor, The Shadow Fey, or something altogether more frightening, none can tell.
When the Summer King of the Galentaur fell to the corrupting influence of the Shadowmancers of Barad Quali, he implanted the Egg of Koschei the Deathless into the tree so that it also spread the curse of mortality throughout the blessed eternal realm of Faerie. When Queen Caerdonelle Mystra, the Winter Queen, fled Qualimor when King Eoneril Ostoroth refused to give up his Reign of Summer, he lured her to the Feywild and imprisoned her within the Ichor Tree, leaving her to her fate at the hands of Prithvi.
