The Dragon Coast

Many thousands of years ago, before the Age of Magic, the power-hungry Pharoahs of Nuria Natal invited Demons into the world.
There followed a great war between Dragons and Demons which all but destroyed the lands of Yore and saw Gods and Devils unite to drive out the Demon Lords.
In the course of this long and bloody war many people died, the Immortal Pharoah was chained in Hell, and Dragonkind was virtually wiped from existence.
Only a few degenerate ancestors such as Drakes and Wyverns still remain. Some claim Great Dragons still inhabit the far North, or exist somewhere far to the East.
Others claim a gargantuan, multi-headed Dragon God is still held captive beneath the mountains of Yore, but this is likely just fanciful rumour and children's tales.
But any who state that Dragons never existed should visit the Dragon Coast, along the bleak Western shores of the Gasping Ocean. For here, preserved by ancient magics, there still lie the skeletal remains of enormous winged lizards, trapped in eternal slumber and oblivious to the passing ages.
Hundreds of these archaeological remains litter the beaches and coastal plains. Many have been plundered for teeth and marrow, but some still lie intact to this day.
