Zellingar, Brother of the Red Claw
Zellingar is the weakling son of a Dragon Sorcerer-King, one of the feared High Priests of the Brotherhood of the Red Claw.
Upon his body are tattooed the symbols of the Cult of the Dragon: on his forehead is a red cross over a stylised sun (the Brotherhood’s public face as a sect of sun-worshippers called The Holy Fire), and on his back are five vertical slashes behind the silhouette of a red dragon’s head.
He keeps the latter closely guarded, but when the PCs rescue him from the clutches of the Illithids along with Elovyn, his clothes are tattered and he is more interested in survival than secrecy.
The Mind Flayers have kept him alive for the esoteric knowledge he has been privy to as son of a Sorcerer-King, but K’Varn sees him as little more than fish food and his days are numbered…
