Brush of Aberrant Replication

The Brush of Aberrant Replication is an enchanted brush created by Eladrin artists, in the hopes of using magic to enhance the process of creating photorealistic imagery. The brush itself is rather plain, but when an individual attunes to the brush, they gain a near-perfect understanding of how to replicate any landscape or environment. That being said, when one attempts to paint with the brush, they will inevitably create something that is just slightly off from reality. This will almost certainly drive the artist mad, as they try again and again to achieve the perfection the brush seemed to suggest. Those that have used the brush for the purpose of research reported getting spontaneous bouts of "inspiration", coming up with solutions they think will help make the painting match reality. In one final act of desparation, they will be driven to use their own blood for the creation.
