Sol'Aeldvari

Sun Elves (sol’Aeldvari) are the oldest subrace, though not by terribly long. Also known as Gold Elves, Day Elves, or Bright Elves, they are always classed as Heavens Elves. Sun Elves are attuned to Fire magic and are diurnal.
The shortest of the common subraces, Sun Elves average about 5’ in height with an athletic, compact build. Their skin is a shade of polished bronze, brass, or dark gold; their eyes are similarly yellow-to-brass in color with white sclera and round pupils; and their thick, straight hair is either black or platinum-to-rich blonde.
Sun Elves are known for their stubbornness, quicker tempers, and traditions of warm hospitality. Their aesthetic is primarily geometric and symmetrical, and their stone-based architecture is inspired by Mesoamerican designs. They are very manabound, preferring mana at least once a day, and live an average of 1,250 years.
Their language, Solvaren or Solfar, resembles a strange hybrid of Portuguese and Nahuatl.
