Ospra City (Oss-pra)

The City of Ospra, a sprawling, multi-district area at the very top of the Westernmost point of the continent of Yadash. Ospra is a coastal city known for its incredible variety of wares for any and all, as well as some of the most luxurious crafts, restaurants and entertainment facilities reserved only for the finest guests, deepest pockets or most persuasive residents.
A hundred or so years ago, the city was overridden after civil disputes over the monarchy and the supposed betrayal of their people. All but burned to the ground, efforts began to restore the once illustrious city back to its full, former glory. New leadership now rules over, trying to bring enough coin from markets and luxuries alike to improve living conditions around the shantytowns and poorer districts, once ignored by previous rulers. This negligence, however, has led to a prominent presence of black markets, shady dealings and other crimes in districts still trying to recuperate and make better lives for themselves.
The 14 districts that make up this City range from these very districts to those less affected by history, or at least felt the benefits of important investors some years passed; the canals around the central area led to multiple areas of scholars and industrious craft guilds alike, coming to a northerly point around the Shores, where the Council and King rule hand in hand from their halls.
As adventurers, you’ve heard of the prosperity (or likewise downfalls) Ospra has brought its visitors- many a folk hero has fought in the notable Pits, filled with a variety of fighting arenas & its colosseum. Many a notorious merchant got their start in the grand bazaar or indeed the corridors of the black market that weave between and connect the districts.
