Slaves

Slavery is common practice in the Territories as weaker or naive individuals are often captured and forced into slavery and sometimes different civilized worlds will participate in a slavery system as a form of punishment for criminals and debtors. Slaves are largely beholden to the whims of their masters and can be utilized, marked, punished, and sold as the master see's fit. It is rare for an individual without some measure of power or wealth to own a slave, though some organizations and gangs can capture, train, and own communal slaves.

Slave roles can span a variety of uses including maintenance and hospitality for living spaces, hard labor, combat entertainment, and sex work,

Some Species including the Narn have a cultural background that has largely made them default to serving as slaves to more powerful species.
