Over the millenia, Valia, Qarat Alwuhshu (Ka-Rut Al-Wu-Hu-Shu), and the many isles in between have adapted a similar calendars. Both systems have a 360-day solar calendar divided into 12 months. It is believed that the same deity bestowed upon us the

DAY

The following are the names of the seven days in a week within the Valian Calendar :

• Sundas
• Morndas
• Tydas
• Middas
• Terdas
• Fredas
• Shadas

The days are named accordingly to a Deity. Sundas for Sune, Morndas for Palor, Tydas for Tymora, Terdas for Ilmater, Fredas for Bolfrei, and Shadas for Shaundakul. Only Middas is the only one named not after a Deity but instead to indicate the middle of the week. It was once named after a deity, but for unknown reasons they have been removed from the annals of history.

MONTH

The following are the names of the twelve months in the Valian Calendar:

1. Morning Star
2. Sun's Dawn
3. First Seed
4. Rain's Hand
5. Second Seed
6. Mid Year
7. Sun's Height
8. Last Seed
9. Hearthfire
10. Frost Fall
11. Sun's Dusk
12. Evening Star

There are a number of different holidays that are celebrated throughout Yulara during these months.

YEAR

Many ages have defined Valia, but not have entered recorded history. Here are the different years taken into record:

• Aevum Notum (AN)
• Aevum Tenebrum (AT)
• Aevum Erudutio (AE)
• Aevum Dividum (AD)
• Erus Sanctum (ES)

As of this writing, the current age we live in is defined by the living Divine Intervention, Bain Goldhand, as he shifted the world during his reign.
