Detre

Detre is a snow covered country far in the mountains with large amounts of snow constantly covering the cities, primarily governed by dwarves who emphasize advancements in technology as opposed to huge claims of land. Many of the people in the borders have a purpose of some sort whether it's to research technology their whole life or to keep the streets clean; it's almost impossible to find someone who is unemployed willingly sice the nation essentially has to sustain it's huge population by itself. If you were to find a dwarf in the north it is usually a safe bet to assume that they are from Detre or at least have family from there. The nation itself is quite secluded from the rest of Yis due to the nation having a history of war and conquering, making it a fool's errand for any other nation to try and claim land for itself. although this aggressive past is for the most part behind them, they for the most part are excluded from many trade routes. At the moment this nation is the most technologically advance but, don't share a large amount of what they develop with the outside world with most dwarven technology being sold second hand. There are quite a few cities within Detre's borders with a majority of it's citizens living in these citadels but, it isn't uncommon to stumble upon small villages with very little amounts of technology who've chosen to live off the land. The capital is ironically one of the oldest cities in the nation having roads made of stone bricks and an ancient steelwork that has been preserved for centuries. The culture there is a very organized and classy one in the cities with very few people being in the lower class or poor. The lowest of the low many can go is working a factory job looking over assembly lines.
