Elf

Elves are a race who are very proficient in manipulating and being a conduit of mana. Physically they are pretty tall with an average height of 7-8 feet and have mostly yuman traits, other than their sharp ears. The Elvish culture is very focused on being well learnt and being knowledgeable in whatever you choose to do, it is rare to find an elf to not know what he is talking about. The profession an elf chooses for their lives is decided partly by lineage and partly by generation. Lineage would decide mainly the type of profession such as knight or scholar while generation would decide the branch of that profession like dark knight or mana researcher. An elf is a very common race to find around the world as they typically travel abroad and settle down to learn about the profession they will be doing for the rest of their life. Elves are held in a pretty high regard and typically occupy high paying jobs in societies regardless of the area. Many well known nobles or vassals in northern empires are elves who've had royal blood for generations. An elf that decides to pickup an adventurer or mercenary role would focus on a magic based role and would hone skills like seeing in the dark and enhanced hearing.
