Ellion

Ellion is known to be a nation of kings and the wealthy, not many live here but those who do are likely well known politicians or massive celebrities. The citizens who actually live in the country typically live a very luxurious life however, they aren’t frugal with their money and are have great hospitality for adventurers and travelers. This country is and has been where elites and rulers meet to discuss plans, policies and politics with the other rulers of the world, specifically among in what is called the Council of the Chosen. The reason that so many countries come here specifically to discuss democracy is because Ellion was the home to the final ruler of Grimar, Ras the great. The current ruler is the descendant of the illegitimate son of Ras, Yoseph II, although he is only really ruler in title. Realistically the only reason Yoseph has any sort of clout is the fact that the rulers decided to continue to meet in Ellion for tradition's sake, as all of the satellite nations and vassals would hold the Council of the Chosen 400 years ago. The rule is very lax by nature because, Yoseph fears that if he is too imposing everyone will leave but, this makes for a surprisingly great nation to live in due to a large amount of freedom to every citizen and traveler. The nature is very nice yet quaint, seeming mostly rural with huge forests with towering trees that reach hundreds of feet into the sky paired with scattered empty fields. The architecture and town structure is somewhat strange and old where there would be ruins or an upkept old castle with a small to large modern town surrounding it in the middle of 50-100 miles of woods. All of these towns have a normal road and train system connecting each town to another with, all of the systems eventually leading back to the capital where the richest and most powerful reside (comparatively of course). It was quite apparent this nation ran off of feudalism until it became a nation for the rich.
