Genies

Genies are by far the most chaotic and inconsistent race on the planet, a genie can be defined as any sentient creature with a high affinity for magic. This has become a race because there are so many creatures that have popped out of the wilds that seemingly have a consciousness and sometimes even a higher level of intelligence when compared to all other races. Because a genie can be any sentient creature that isn't categorized as any other sentient race in addition to them frequently casting spells that change their appearance, they have no concrete race description. Many societies have popped up completely made of genies which are highly reliant on magic mainly being located in the wilds as the chaos of genies wouldn't be as potent near the mana-regulating spires. There are many old legends that paint genies in many different lights, some say they bring the downfall of society, while others say they've brought about incredible changes to the world. One of the most common legends is that a genie was the one who beckoned the gods to make the towers millennia ago as opposed to the 13 mages. Other common tales told of them claim that the mage who created their race just created magic factories of sorts that take random beasts from the wilds and make them into more advance versions of themsleves. It isn't uncommon to see a genie in any other society but, these chaotic genie citadels is where you'll find a high density of them.
