Ithico is the first country to clear a tower and is becoming one of the fastest developing nation in Yis. Ithico used to be the biggest rival to Grimar before both of the nations collapsed Ithico specifically due to the mana fields collapsing for a decade, leaving the country and cities completely defenseless to the extreme creatures and climate of the wilds. Once the dust settled all that was left was the capital city and a large amount of swampland surrounding it. Ever since this catastrophe Ithico has been working on scaling itself back and creating one completely walled in and safe nation mostly keeping their affairs to their selves. They recently completely finished their goals and have reconnected with the rest of the world, however they seem to be a tad behind on technology, oddly enough they have just used pure magic and magic relics as an alternative. Magic is a common thing for almost everyone in the nation to know as they all carry around grimoires which list off simple spells to achieve every day goals that technology would. In addition to their reclusive nature they, conquered the first tower and used the power gained from the spire to accelerate their construction of a perfect city state. The acquisition of the first tower was achieved by a foot solider named mart and he did this completely by chance being the last person to survive in his platoon. Mart shortly after left his Ithico after constructing a large amount of roads, walls and even platforms to build towns on. Mart also taught the king of the nation about the trials of the towers and trained the military on how to effectively clear towers, leading Ithico to claim 2 more towers and becoming one of the strongest militaries in the world. Traditionally not many people leave the nation as the outside world is very confusing to them but those who do are highly proficient in magic and see many normal to advance casters as somewhat simplistic and lackluster when it comes to spells.
