Ailsa Nadezhda
Ailsa Nadezhda is the Goddess of Mercy, and the chief goddess of all the good gods. She represents kindness and compassion. She favors redemption of criminals rather than punishment, and forgiveness rather than revenge. Her clergy believes that all sentient beings can be redeemed through love and understanding, and that a kind heart and gentle hand are the most potent weapons against evil.
She abhors the creation of non-sentient undead (skeletons, zombies, etc.) above all things, as robbing a being of its deserved rest is the antithesis of mercy. She bids her clergy destroy these beings at all cost. Sentient forms of undead who become this way willingly (liches, vampires, etc.) are viewed with pity, but believed redeemable in the way that any evil being is.
She usually appears as a woman in flowing robes, with a gentle face, beatific expression and sad eyes. She wears an olive wreath around her head.
