Dexsia
Dexsia is a Scytharian human born and raised in Skalmarkelda, who has had an ancient mountain spirit whispering magical secrets to her since she was a small child. She has an instinctive connection to rock and stone, and works to make sure the tunnels and mines that the town depends on to exist stay stable and safe.

Identifying Characteristics
Dexsia's grey eyes are large enough to be striking and noteworthy without appearing unnatural, giving her a constant wide-eyed look. She claims to have been able to see in the dark from an early age, as far back she can remember.
Apparel & Accessories
Most days, Dexsia is wearing a thick wool tank top that has settled into a grey color over time, durable work trousers, and a series of hardened leather plates connected by rivets across her arms, shoulders, legs and upper chest. While this gear does serve well as armor, its real purpose is safety gear, to defend from falling rocks and minor cave-ins.

Dexsia spends her days wandering the tunnels of Skalmarkelda, "listening to the mountain" and searching for faults that need to be shored up to keep the tunnels stable. She also scouts locations for possible expansions and new resources to harvest, and guides miners in the digging and shoring of new tunnels.

The strange behavior caused by Dexsia's relationship to her mountain spirit ally left her childhood lonely. While other children were never mean to her, they were uncomfortable around her, and Dexsia felt isolated by it. Her diligent work in the tunnels during her young adulthood endeared her to most people, but she still doesn't feel close to anyone in particular. She's generally friendly and polite when she's not distracted by things only she can see and hear.
