Grim Company

The Grim Company is a mercenary company based in Blackbush, and 75% owned by the Blackbush Light Lumber Company.
The company's business mostly involves guarding BLL assets, and the usual amount of mercantile strongarming one would  expect from a privately owned mercenary company. The Grim Company is also known to offer the services of their brutally effective asset retrieval detachment, who are well known and feared by local thieves' guilds.

Composition

Manpower

Grim Company's focus on urban and for hire activity, and ownership by a larger company, means they require very few administrative staff and almost no logistical staff. Their membership is mostly composed of a few hundred heavy infantry, and a dozen or so specialists at any one time.

Equipment

The average Grim Company soldier wears a distinctive grey leather surcoat, and a polished steel breastplate with matching greaves and gauntlets.

Weaponry

Weapons and shields vary by individual preference, but rarely include anything exotic. Longswords are by far most common.

Equipment repair and food procurement for the Company is almost entirely handled through long term contracts with other companies within the city of Blackbush.
