Vredesbyrd

According to some people, Vredesbyrd is more of a lack of a place than an actual place. It's a vast empty stretch of frozen wasteland that exists south of the Khalvarn Mountains. As far as anyone knows, beyond Vredesbyrd lies only ice walls, tundra and madness.
A few coastal settlements and isolated huts exist, mostly along the shore of the icy bay that separates Vredesbyrd from Al-gon and Scytharia, but these settlements are rarely more than a group of ten or so people who have reason to avoid the civilizations of the north. And the rest of the continent is content to assume anyone mad enough to settle here is a mad cannibal or other similarly dangerous person, and not worth the time to disturb.
