Void Gods

The Void Gods are a beings who originate the vast dark beyond the sky, the empty places between the stars. They are entirely alien to the world of Zameen, and in the rare occasion their attention turns towards it, their will often must be filtered through layers of intermediaries. The physical presence of a Void God is so inimical to the natural order of Zameen that reality is often distorted or damaged in unpredictable ways. Few broad statements can be made about Void Gods as a group, and even thinking of them as a group is often a woefully myopic mistake. Their minds are unfathomable and their motivations are unknowable. To even directly experience a Void God with any sense is almost always irreparably harmful to humanoid creatures.   Nearly all of the knowledge to be gained about their nature, history or power must be gleaned indirectly from the ravings and scrawlings those whose minds have been shattered by direct contact with some unwholesome bit of knowledge.
