Ædreell

A magical construction from the combined effort of multiple magical colleges the Ædreell is used as a sentinel throughout the capitol and known as an unrelenting hound in any other city. Though the beings are not frequently used in any obscene manner their sheer construction gives them a dark visage in the minds of the people. Being mostly of bronze or other metals their body is the shape of a large hunting cat and wings larger than the largest natural birds, though almost maliciously they were given the head and face of a human so that they would be better equipped to interact with the population. Every child believes in the stories told them by their parental figures about little children who would not eat their vegetables or who stole being taken away by the creatures, never to be seen again. Rumors also follow that several have been seen outside the capitol and without a human escort like those normally seen when an Ædreell is sent to hunt.
