Aura Leech

A being created by a combination of magical energies in an attempt to revive a person. The process ends with a husk with only a sliver of Aura in its body but a lingering desire to draw in more Aura. This lack of Aura and desire drives the being into a state of frenzy as it tries to regain some amount of humanity that is only found when it has gorged itself on the Aura of others. Because the Aura is not native to its body it burns up at an accelerated rate requiring the being to feed more and more. Because of the magics involved in its creation it is naturally alluring on a deeper level than that of its form. This mockery of an existence is not exclusive to Humans or even humanoids though it is most frequently the case amongst Humans.
