Frotenyæger
The primary city and hold in the fiefdom controlled by lord M.C. Banany is situated beneath the Frost-flame Peak and as such is fed a constant supply of clean water. It is also common for thick fog to roll down from the peak and envelop the city. On those days the people are awarded time and money enough to compensate the lost wages for the day to spend that time with family or on self reflection and improvement.
Houses within the city all sport thick curtains or, in the instance of wealthier homes, multiple curtains. These curtains are used to block out the bright white light that is emitted from the near by mountain. Curtains are drawn shut at dusk and not opened again until the following day. Tiled and slate roofs sport thatch calking between joints to prevent both moisture and the bright light.
For a remote city the population size does not seem to be affected. In fact its population is quite large for the size of the city. This excess can be attributed to the local temples to many otherwise less popular deities. Included among them is an open temple to Cairen.
