Gastromancer

The Gastromancer as it has been referred to by the masses is a wizard specialized in the conjuration and enhancement of food stuffs. The first use of Gastromancy was the simple good berry used by many who study the natural arts. Eventually a practitioner thought to himself what if I could make this food taste good as well as being filling. The practitioner pursued this goal doggedly in an attempt to make a lasting legacy. He failed. Though many decades later more and more practitioners would have this thought and eventually a debate would ensue. Can food made and seasoned through magic taste as good as that made by a seasoned chef? With the pursuit of these practitioners to achieve culinary excellence and greater arcane knowledge the term Gastromancer was coined and from the fallout of the debate so was the Gastronomical Competition.
