The Red Gold Lowlands

Bordered by mountains to the north a warm current runs along the coast. The hot and humid region is littered with earthen made homes that line the intermittent mountain sides. Decorations of gypsum and stucco mark one from another. Houses and farms contain cool subterranean storage areas for saffron among other food items that are cultivated by the residents. These residents are garbed in multi layered thin clothing with large head coverings like bucklers made of straw.
