WorldEmber 2023 homework - Complete

First week

The area of focus i have selected for my first ever WorldEmber challenge is a bit on the boring end admittedly. My focus will primarily be on the "basics". Essentially the cosmology/metaphysics of my world, and then fill in that created cosmic space i have made and fill it out with the world(s). When the dust settles at the end of WorldEmber 2023, I have hopefully setup a great blueprint that will segue nicely into being filled out by various people, creatures, nations etc.

Hopefully I get the time to move into those!

Second Week

Now for the mini-meta, my focus for this broad cosmos and world i'm making will place heavy emphasis on philosophy. To whomever may read this, bear with him, I actually read the stuff of the philosophers whose work I will make use of xD

More specifically, a large part of the cosmos will be quagmire of jungian ideas, platos theory of forms (basically a beyond world). Basically, a lot of it will be compatible with aspects of the self. Just like ours in the real world, but less speculative lmao. For the landscape, I'm aiming for some very vibrant, if not alien landscapes that kind of border on sci-fi almost.

Biggest thing i need to keep in mind: it needs to reinforce the story i have in mind!

#Fantasy

Third Week

For the third week assignment, I have determined that it might be best to pick a new background that matches the newly selected style "bright fantasy", I used Midjourney to generate a few pictures and I have a picture that arguably suits the general aestetic of the world than the current one. The complimenting colors might help aswell.

Fourth Week

Get my head sorted out and leverage the newly aquired brain power in the direction of a creative venture that will be my life's work, i have come up with a few ways i can hopefully achieve this:

Remove distractions from the table i work on, that means putting my phone and tablet out of view

try to set a daily limit and put it within increments of 30 minutes, maybe pushing it a bit if I get good momentum going

Try to contact others within the community to rely on for support

buy a truckload of coffee and choco to keep me warm during the coming winter

create a playlist with a certain tone to the tracks within it, just so the tone hopefully rubs off on me and I express it in the world.

It's gonna be a huge ordeal, but i think i will be able to succeed!
