I really like this new poke edges. They offer new tactis, buffs combat manluvers, counters for ranged and flying users, strategies about been tripped, and gives more reasons to train your 'mons skills (which, roleplay wise, sounds like something every trainer would do). I might blatantly copy this page (with one or two of my own) if you are fine with it. Well, if I find out how you made the spoilers bubbles not read "spoiler". Or how to end lines without creating new paragraphs. Yes, worldanvil confuses me

Aug 19, 2019 14:50 by The Chronicler

Please do, most of these I got from the forums anyway. I can just send you the text for the entire page and you can look at the uh, "code" for it. Just let me know what you add to yours, because I might want to use it for my campaign too!

Aug 19, 2019 14:52 by The Chronicler

Actually, I think it's most of the *combat* ones I got from the forums. About half of the Other Edges and all of the Specialized Edges are mine.

Aug 19, 2019 16:13 by Jairo (Ceres) Lugilde Paz

That would be awesome! Well, when I get to making the list of edges. I actually want to get everything that is usable in my campaign in a single page (even the corebook content) so my players can consult everything at the same time. So yeah, I will message you whenver I need something, specially classes since those are a drag to add   I will tell you when I have anything usable. Probably something like the mining overhaul I'm testing

Aug 19, 2019 18:33 by The Chronicler

Well, good luck with that! Let me know whenever you need anything.

Aug 19, 2019 21:09 by Jairo (Ceres) Lugilde Paz

Actually, right know I could really use the classes and advanced classes, if it is fine whith you. And while you are at it, if it isn't much work, the homebrew edges, features, and pokedges would be usefull too, since I'll need them soon enough

Sep 11, 2019 22:30 by Jairo (Ceres) Lugilde Paz

With whitch hunter and mental resistance, aren't psychic, ghost and dark types getting nerfed? I get it from lore reasons that they are been hunted, but is it compensated with something?

Sep 11, 2019 22:50 by The Chronicler

Not directly, but they do get buffs from the New Moon weather, which happens 50% of nights.

Sep 11, 2019 22:50 by The Chronicler

Also, I thought Witch Hunter was a Trainer thing?

Sep 11, 2019 23:29 by Jairo (Ceres) Lugilde Paz

It is, but I wasn't going to copypaste the comment there

Sep 12, 2019 17:06 by The Chronicler

OH! I THOUGHT YOU MEANT THE "WITCH HUNTER" RESEARCHER FEATURE! I forgot I named an Edge that as well! Oh shit, man. Let me go change that. My idea is that this is all intended to buff up that Researcher branch indirectly, but obviously anybody who qualifies can take the edges and beef up their Pokemon, too. It is mostly done for lore stuff, but I can't think of edges that could damage all the types so it's equally spread out, y'know? It can be done, but I usually give NPCs those edges, and I haven't needed to come up with more yet.

Sep 12, 2019 21:15 by Jairo (Ceres) Lugilde Paz

Oh, I see. Well, it is a neat idea, and I will keep it in mind since it fits lore wise in mine too (psychic, dark and ghost are the only elementalists known to the public. Well, aura guardian too, but they are rarer and more respected)

Sep 13, 2019 03:11 by The Chronicler

If you're that worried about it, just make some more edges to balance it out for the other team. That way, if your players do take these, you can let them smack around the opposition for a while and counter with your own stuff.

Apr 7, 2020 11:24 by Jairo (Ceres) Lugilde Paz

I've been thinking about making some of the combat edges available for trainers too... I mean, if a Pokémon can learn how to fight while tripped, why wouldn't a human be able to? (Also it would be so cool)

Apr 7, 2020 16:17 by The Chronicler

Knock yourself out, I'm doing something similar!
