The Transcendent Emperor leaves His hometown of Dìfāng with a small militia with dreams of unifying all of Zamzara under His rule.

Mustering all of His charisma and force of will, the young would-be Emperor gathered a company of unwashed farmers and laborers to conquer the world. A barbarous world awaited them - one that would constantly push against His dream of all Humanity overcoming their differences to help one another. Undeterred by constant warfare, the Emperor innovated a multitude of strategic concepts and tactical stratagems to overcome His foes. The people of Zamzara were a cowardly sort, prone to submitting to petty warlords and bandit kings without recompense - when those kings and warlords were defeated on the battlefield, more and more people naturally came to join His army, hoping to be on the winning side.
