Era beginning/end

The Transcendent Emperor unifies the continent of Zamzara, forming the Zamzian Empire, and with it, the first calendar system used across all the land.

The end of the Time of Barbarism, when The Transcendent Emperor finally quashed the last remnants of the savages who refused civilization. On this day, he officially declared his campaign over and proclaimed himself Emperor of Zamzara, creating the Zamzian Empire from a loose collection of petty chieftains, would-be warlords, and pacifistic shamans. Until now, each settlement had its own method of timekeeping and organization, wasteful and inefficient in their independence. With this declaration of the new age, the Emperor could begin work on cementing his Empire as a militaristic and cultural force beyond compare.
