His family perishing in the The Ruby Rebellion Surke grew up as an orphan worker whom he takes a kin ship with a few other orphans. Most of all the one person whom he calls brother (they showed up to the orphanage on the same night) At a young age they have always had a rivalry but it ignited the day that they dared each other to jump into the forbidden water of the Thokozani Crator . Surke did but his brother did not. However as time passed they grew to become skilled fighters and survivors. Now feeling the need to become a bannerman to honor their family they have embarked on their mission. Leaving their humble potato farm inNew Raden  
Having a kindred passion for dragons and a peppy attitude to boot. Surke hopes to find his destiny on this quest.
