The Divinitary

Supreme ruler of the country and all its subjects. The Divinitary is the incarnate of Isis, the main deity worshipped by those of Nighttide. Her name is always preceded by Isis-, and she is chosen at birth by the goddess herself. Nighttide seeresses will find where the child has been born, and take her into the fold of Nighttide as quickly as possible to begin her training. The child is trained for several years, into adulthood, to be able to handle the several millennia worth of memories passed on to her from the previous Divinitary.
