The Continent of Marthae

The Land of Darkness

Marthae is a place full of sadness and grief. Its landscapes are drenched with a darkness unlike any other. This darkness encapsulated any life that live on this continent, however few have found a way to live here.

How it came to be

At the end of The Sisters Folly, Marthae was distruaght, cauing her land to split away from the continent of Lucia and turned the lands to be the embodiment of grief itself.

Inhabitents

Few are able to withstand the harsh environment of Marthae, however those who do live there have adjusted to living in those conditions. Naturally occuring races include, Duegar, Deep gnomes, Drow, Thri-kreen and Shadar-Kai. However other races have been introduced over the years through the exciles from Lucia. Those that live and survive here have to withstand an eternal darkness and have to prevent this darkenss from spreading. They are overwatched by guards constantly from Lucia ensuring everyone does their job.
