Seiðr's coven

Seiðr's coven is an adventurous culture, choosing to traverse the ravenous seas in hope of finding treasure and rare materials.
With the spoils of their adventures they create potions that others can only dream of.   Culture: this is more of a viking styled civilization. A civilization where the strong lead with a heavy hand to protect those that can't do it themselves. The culture is ruled by the one who is the most competent, they care not for bloodline leadership. Though it has passed down quite a bit considering the next generation was instilled by the leadership qualities of his/her parents.
They have an attitude of: "A long life is a boring one, live one of excitement. A boring day is a day not lived"   What kind of campaign would you guys play in if you choose this culture?
  • This culture has a focus on the short term prowess that magical potions can provide. These potions grant bonuses far higher than any normal armour/weapon would give, though temperary. You'll be focus on gathering potion ingredients, killing monsters for their parts and gaining better potions etc.
  • A lot of the setting will be focused on nautical adventures either on top or below the water surface.
  • Monsters/encounters will have more of a dinosaur/really dangerous "regular" animal like nautical creatures. Think in this case of a plesiosaurus, megalodon etc.
