Ulin, God of Trickery

Divine Domains

Domains: trickery, tempest   Ulin is the god of trickery, balance and the sea

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The two pronged spearhead is the most notable of ulin's symbols.   The golden Apple is another of his symbols.   A pair of ornate golden vambraces crossed over each other is another common symbol for ulin.

Tenets of Faith

To show that which is not really there is to honor ulin. Whether this is in jest or as execution of ideals does matter though, for balance is also one of ulin's ideals.   To trick the child into eating a vegetable instead of a sweet honors ulin. But to trick the prostrate devotee into drinking poison under the guise of nourishment would incur ulin's wrath.   Ulin also embodies the seas and oceans of the world and this is more visible in how he views balance. To grow violent like a storm or be as calm as a hidden cove may all be done in a few moments.   Often sailors and those venturing out into open waters will offer a blessing to ulin in the form of a prank or trick on another aboard the ship.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Ulin often appears in a humanoid shape, covered in grey tattered robes that conceal most of his body except for his arms and upper torso. Pale, greyish skin is the most common, with glowing eyes as if lightning were hidden behind them.

Apparel & Accessories

Ulin's golden vambraces and his golden two-pronged trident are his most common pieces of apparel.
