Dragonbane

Dragonbane is a poison, created with a combination of alchemy and magic and intended to inflict great pain, prevent the victim from using magic, then spread through the body, shutting down internal organs, and eventually reach the brain, killing the victim.
Despite being called Dragonbane, and originally being developed to kill dragons, it works on any living creature.

Utility

Deadly poison, either injected or used as a gas.

Manufacturing

Only the Circle of Mages knew how to make it, and none of them are alive. There are rumors that some of the royal families that trace their lineage to the Circle have instructions on how to make it, but these rumors are unsubstantiated.
