Zenith
4/20/400 AS
Zenith is a dichotomous world, there are two sides to everything.
Two sides to every story, two sides to every moment in time.
For everyy action, there is a reaction.
While some may not be equal, they are certainly opposite.
For every sun that sets, another rises.
Two great ages of civilization, a singularity between them.
People were progressive and indulgent before, as were the gods.
Obllivious to forces beyond their understanding, as were the gods.
Confident in their structures, cities, laws, and way of life, as were the gods.
But now things have changed, so to whom do they pray?
Do they continue to pray to them unanswered as they may be?
But is that still less disturbing than knowing something is listening?
Does the fool have a right to name others his own name?
Things are now different, can they ever be the same?
Is this ruination, or rebirth?
And if you kneww it was coming, what would you do to stop it?
