33. Panic & Preparations

General Summary

At the church of Avalon, the party discussed, and even argued, their next steps. André wished to storm the Grand Arcaneum as soon as possible, fearing for those trapped within. Meanwhile, Varris, and later Jester, attempted to stay his desire to leave, at least until they finished a brief reprieve. After much debating, the adventurers agreed to at least a short rest before leaving to go the Arcaneum. During that period, Varris petitioned for some aid from Lord Vesius IV in the form of healing. Tycus also left the church to retrieve his belongings from an inn. However, when the paladin returned, he brought about dismal news that his sword had gone missing, more than likely stolen as all that was left was a note whose text Varris recognized. Despite the occurrence, the party decided to trudge on, towards the Grand Arcaneum.
