Zentrum, the planet upon which our story unfolds, is a celestial body with an awe-inspiring history. Though the intelligent Ancestries inhabiting Zentrum remain unaware, the planet itself has a remarkable age of approximately 3.12 billion years. Over eons, it has witnessed profound transformations and natural phenomena.

Natural Forces and Magic

Much like Earth, Zentrum experiences a multitude of natural forces, including seasons, atmospheric currents, ocean currents, and tides. These phenomena are predominantly influenced by a tidally locked moon known as Lunaris, which imparts a familiar rhythm to life on Zentrum. Zentrum boasts a diverse landscape, comprising five habitable continents and two frozen landmasses beneath the northern and southern ice caps. Of these five habitable continents, four are linked by vast land bridges. However, one of these land bridges is uniquely challenging to traverse due to active volcanoes, mountainious terrain, and freezing climate.

This remarkable formation is a product of volcanic activity, characterized by towering peaks that significantly influence wind patterns across the planet. It is aptly named, as navigating this region proves exceedingly difficult due to unforgiving winds and rocky channels.

Emergence of Intelligent Ancestries

Approximately 100,000 years before the events of our story, the first signs of intelligence began to emerge among the planet's diverse fauna. Unlike Earth's evolutionary history, Zentrum has witnessed various species independently developing intelligence. These intelligent offshoots of different evolutionary phylum are collectively referred to as Ancestries.
