The cathedral's stained glass windows, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across its interior, create a mesmerizing visual spectacle.

Historical, Cultural, and Religious Significance

Rouen's origins harken back to a modest village, but it achieved historical eminence through the transformative teachings of Stefon Levitt. Between 7589 BCE and 1 BCE, the city burgeoned into a thriving religious hub. A pivotal moment in its history occurred when Emperor Redolphe Jacquinot of the United Aurorastra Empire struck a monumental deal with the Primus Pontifex of the Tenfold Faith.   In exchange for the official donation of Rouen and its surrounding farmlands to the Faith, Jacquinot's family was consecrated as the rightful rulers of Aurorastra. This agreement marked the establishment of the Pontifex Protectorate, solidifying the Faith's influence in the region. The Cathedral, Mont Saint-Levitt, now stands as a living testament to both a divine consecration of a bloodline, and the consecration of a city. As a cultural shift, the Faith initiated a calendar change, adopting the BCE and CE format. Histories were rewritten to count down to the Consecration of Rouen, emphasizing its profound impact on the entire region.

Rouen, the heart and capital of the Pontifex Protectorate, is home to an estimated 480,000 residents, forming a vibrant tapestry of diverse cultures. The majority of the populace comprises Humans, creating a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere. Supporting this primary demographic, there are smaller yet vibrant communities of Halflings, Elves, and Dwarves.
