Child of Utopia:
Prerequisite: Dragonborn, Lamia, or Kobold race, Character level 1st Only
Effect: Gain the homebrew spell Resonate as an at-will spell-like ability, cast homebrew Spell Overseer's Imperious Resonation 1/day.
Some Dragonborn, Lamia, and even the odd Kobold find that they cannot trace their lives back to where they were born. Their friends, loved ones, and associates all speak of them as if they speak of myth...one day, they simply were. Blessed with vague, indistinct memories of their true draconic parents, of a city where magic and stone are as one, of being cast down, far down...they cannot recall it, but they carry within them memories, emotions, and recollections of the secretive place which the True Dragons now call home...of Utopia...and strangely, they find that the ancient ruins of the High Humans respond intrinsically to their command.
Draconic Timelessness:
Prerequisite: Dragonborn, 'Immortal Spark' Dragonborn alternate racial trait, Character level 7th
Effects: 'Lesser Age resistance 1/day/ from alternate racial trait replaced with 'Greater Age Resistance 1/day'. You also become immune to magical aging effects, though such effects stun you for 1d6 rounds instead, and your natural lifespan is doubled.
A glance into the primordial, mighty natures of the True Dragons, the odd Dragonborn who inherits the Draconic Timelessness spoken of in the old tales finds themselves thrust out of sync with their brethren, their bodies aging far slower than all they know and ignoring most all signs of age until their lives come to an end. These Dragonborn, unless they find similarly long-lived compatriots, rapidly fall into despair and depression after seeing their friends, kin, and companions all wither away and die before them while their body stays pristine and healthy.
Tail of a True Dragon:
Prerequisites: Dragonborn Race, 'Draconic Tail' alternate racial trait
Effects: You may use your tail to make Attacks of Opportunity within a reach of 5 feet. Your tail is a natural attack that deals 1d8 points of damage plus your Strength Modifier, if you are a medium size creature. This damage dice is lowered or increased accordingly if you small or large sized, or larger or smaller. If you are large sized or larger, your tail also gains more reach accordingly.
Among the Dragonborn who possess tails, some learn to use their tails to greater effect and train them until they become highly useful in combat.
Blessing of the Dragon Queen:
Prerequisites: Dragonborn Race, 'Brand of Tiamat' alternate racial trait, Character Level 12th
Effects: Gain Resistance 10 to Fire, Cold, Electricity, and Acid damage. These added resistances stack with the resistance you gain from your Draconic Ancestry Racial Trait(if you did not replace it). Additionally, you no longer have to lower the DC and may choose whether to use the Shape and Size of your new or old damage type when using 'Brand of Tiamat'.
The epitome of the unholy power of The Dragon Queen to those Dragonborn blessed(Perhaps Cursed) by this power, the Blessing of the Dragon Queen allows her faithful resistance to many elemental types, and enhances the power of the blessings that have come before...though the paths that they may follow often turn dark, grim, or sinful, they trudge ever onwards with the knowledge their queen watches over them, greedily watching their progress and seeing them towards their true destiny...
Platinum Bellows:
Prerequisites: Dragonborn Race, Must have a Breath Weapon, 'Platinum Purpose' alternate racial trait, Character level 6th
Effects: You choose another breath weapon from the Draconic Ancestry table you cannot already use or switch to with 'Platinum Purpose'. You may now add that breath weapon to the list of weapons you can switch between, though the cooldown is still shared across all of them.
Special: You may take this feat up to 3 times. You can have no more than 5 types of weapons you can switch between in this way.
A further sign of blessing by the Platinum Dragon, the Dragonborn blessed by this power find themselves capable of storing yet another element. Yet, with this blessing comes the burden of knowing that they are one of The Platinum Dragon's chosen crusaders in the war against Injustice and Evil. They often strive for goodness and justness, and especially hate those who follow the ways of The Dragon Queen...
Platinum Nova Breath:
Prerequisites: Dragonborn Race, 'Platinum Purpose' alternate racial trait, Character level 12th
Effects: 1/day, you may choose to combine some or all breath weapons you can switch between into one titanic blast(Minimum 2 breath weapons combined). This attack counts as being all the damage types you can breath(Whichever is most beneficial), gains 1.5x damage, and you can choose any shape and size among all the breath weapons you know, though the range of it is doubled.(30ft lines becomes 60ft lines, 15 foot cones become 30ft cones, etc.) However, the cooldown after using this ability for your breath weapon is multiplied by how many breath weapons you used in it.
The most rare of all the Dragonborn mutations even more so than the mythical Crystal Heart, the Dragonborn who garner this blessing harbor a myriad of elements roiling within their bosoms, their scales lustrous and radiant for all time as they ascend to become one of the infinitely rare few given direct blessing by the claw of the Platinum Dragon, and given a shard of his infinite might. Said to be the true form of the long-lost Platinum Dragonborn tribe, these Dragonborn over become adventurers of great renown on their journeys to stop the ways of evil and injustice.
Member of the Old Guard:
Prerequisites: Dragonborn race, 'Scourge of Gods' Alternate Racial Trait, Character level 7th
Effects: Whenever you slay another creature, you may automatically effect the square they fell with a plant growth spell(Choosing either effect). This will destroy the body of the creature completely over the course of 24 hours unless the body is moved out of the growths created by this spell. You take no penalties on con checks to stablize for negative hit point totals - and your death threshold is increased by 5 as if your Constitution was 5 higher.
The fully inducted members of the Old Guard, the rapidly dwindling loyalists who continue the traditions of the armies of Khaasin Baatar - the man known as "The Scourge of Gods" who founded the lands of Khadagar as they are known in the modern day. They are considered an anachronism by modern Dragonborn, but still proudly wear their badges of service to the armies of Khaasin Baatar(Better known as the Unbreakable Horde) long, long after his death. They carry on the important tradition of Khaasin Baatar of furthering the causes of butchery and nature in equal measure - a combination most strange, but unique nonetheless.
Blood of a True Dragon:
Prerequisite: Dragonborn, Character level 7th
Effects: Your blood and other fluids are infused with your Draconic ancestry energy type. Every time you are damaged by a piercing or slashing weapon, the attacking creature takes energy damage which starts at a 1d6 for medium creatures and scales up one dice step for each size above medium. (or double damage if the attack is a critical hit). Using a reach weapon does not endanger the attacker in this way.
To those rare Dragonborn who find themselves blessed with the scales of their True Draconic parents, rarer yet is the Dragonborn who finds their own blood subsumed by liquid reminders of their heritage, each cut and slash upon their body giving birth to a violent explosion of energy which harms nearby enemies.
Crystalline Heart of a True Dragon:
Prerequisite: Dragonborn, Character level 9th
Effects: You gain immunity to the energy type of your ancestry(or DR 5/- for Copper) and increase the damage die of 'Blood of a True Dragon' by one step if you have it. Additionally, you may now deal the True Elemental damage with the element of your ancestry(Untyped Damage for Copper Dragons).
Spoken of only in myths, tales, and fables as the source of the True Dragon’s might and immortality, the legendary Crystal Hearts of the Dragons are said to be things of pure mana and magic, of crystallized primordial mana given physical form. There have been spoken of Dragonborn who carry these massive, beating engines of magic within their bosoms, their bodies and existences forever altered and consumed by the blessing and curse both which beats within them. Said to pump pure elemental energy as blood through their bodies and to grant a fraction of the Timelessness of the True Dragons to their Dragonborn hosts, the Crystal Heart of a True Dragon is a material sought above all others in this world and the realms...yet, those that are rumored to exist are said to vanish and evaporate with the death of their host.
Senses of a True Dragon:
Prerequisite: Dragonborn, Character level 7th
Effects: Gain the 'Dragon Senses' universal monster ability. (All Dragonborn Senses replaced with: Darkvision 120 ft. and blindsense 60 ft. You see four times as well as a Human in dim light and twice as well in normal light).
While not as impressive as their blood nor as mythically mighty as their hearts, the famed Senses of the True Dragons were said to be mighty weapons unto themselves. And while the Dragonborn who inherits such power is rare, they are said to have sight beyond sight, and vision so keen and sharp as to pinpoint a needle drop within a sandstorm.
Wings of a True Dragon:
Prerequisites: Dragonborn Race, Character Level 7th
Effects: Gain a fly speed equal to your base land speed, with a maneuverability of 'Good'. If you already have a fly speed, it gains 30ft and increases one maneuverability level.
A rare mutation but one seen as highly valued in Dragonborn society, the Dragonborn who find their Vestigial Wings transform into majestic wings worthy of a True Dragon find themselves able to soar through the skies like a bird of prey. They often gain positions of power within their villages.
Internalized Ancestry:
Prerequisite: Dragonborn, Must not have replaced Breath Weapon, Character Level 5th
Effects: You may, instead of using your breath weapon for that day, instead inhale all active sources of the element of your ancestry in a 30ft cone in front of you. If these sources are magical, you may attempt a caster level check against the caster level of the source of that element, with your caster level being equal to your character level + 5. All sources of your element you inhale this way are snuffed out and/or rendered harmless and grant you fast healing 1 for a number of minutes equal to one minute for every active element source you inhale.
While most all Dragonborn know of the raging, roiling furnaces that burn within their bosoms, the element of their ancestry always burning within them, there is occasionally a Dragonborn who finds his bosom more akin to a two-way furnace compared to his kin. Where his kin can only exhale the energy that lays within them, these Dragonborn can also inhale their ancestral element as easy breathing, dispelling and quelling both raging inferno and boiling acid.
