Palion

The Steel Chancellor

As cold and unyielding as steel, Palion rules over his court from a bench of rationality. As the god of logic, Palion presides over the analytical minds of mortals. Arvon crafted Palion to arm the mortal races with the cognitive tools needed to survive in their plane of existence. Amongst the rest of the pantheon, Palion is quick to serve as jury, judge and--at times--executioner. He never shies away from solving a problem, no matter how difficult the solution may be to accept. This propensity to antagonism has earned him the further attribution as the god of competition.
The inverses of Palion are the twin gods Kyi & Diy, who are the gods of empathy. Followers of Kyi & Diy shiver at the thought of a being as heartless as Palion and lament his callous approach to governing the mind and soul.
Palion resides in The Silver Citadel, his legendary bastion and court of arbitration. The Citadel is said to be guarded by fearsome celestial beings made of stone and metal tasked with keeping mortals and the non-divine away from Palion's forum.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Statues and busts portray Palion as a tall and imposing male humanoid figure, dressed in ceremonial armor and robes. A massive helm in the shape of an eagle's head and beak covers Palion's face, and large raptor's wings sprout from his back. He is often shown with his magical rapier, Mindsliver.
