The Collapse of Valstead

A large explosion rocked Valstead and destroyed most of the city. The land around split, and Shiveton is split in half.

A large arcane explosion shook the city centre where Valstead Wharf used to be (where Venerwharf is now). The town was destroyed and the earth split on either side of the city, meeting where Shiveport is. Shiveport used to be named Shiveton, and changed its name as the explosion destroyed the town and flooded between it and the mines below. The mages of the Arcane Sanctum were shielded in their chamber, and managed to teleport out of Vihsan, never to be seen again. It is thought that the Arcane Sanctum collapsed in its entirety.
