Archmages of Color

A council of 9 (the number of power for magic or bending) was formed during the first Age. All are Wizards. Each a master of their own Circle of Magic. Each Archmage took on one student at a time to teach. It is rumored the Archmages traded secrets amongst one another sharing and pushing the bendings of magic and reality.

In the Age of Heroes, before The Darkness came, these powerful Archmages fought alongside men in the The Great War. Many were killed, and only a fraction of their knowledge, and power remains.

His star pupil who was Daerma Myrddin who had a falling out with him, headed to Barovia to seek out powerful magical secrets at The Amber Temple .

Little is known of the early life of Keraptis. He established himself as protector of the Flan enclave of Tostenhca in the Griff Mountains, bringing the local warlords in line with gruesome threats fulfilled just often enough to keep them afraid of him. The local depredations of monsters decreased markedly under Keraptis's rulership, so for a time the local populace did not mind paying Keraptis's rather heavy taxes and tithes.
However, as all dissension to Keraptis's rule was stilled one way or another, Keraptis began incrementally increasing the amount of wealth he demanded from those under his protection, until eventually he was claiming a large portion of everything produced in the valleys.
Was a master hoarder of items, and strange creatures he could study and summon.

She carries around a powerful artifact, Crystal Ball of True Seeing, that can pierce through the mind and flesh of Elves and Mortals.
