Androids

Recalled for becoming to human, the androids are counted by many for good or bad as their own species. This has raised many debated over the ethics and morals involved in the way they are treated.
Some fear the androids for what they have the potential to become as they gain further intelligence.

Basic Information

Anatomy

The advanced androids are designed to replicate the outwards appearance of humans in every way possible, they have a variety of skin, hair and eye colours, hair types, "bone" structures and even bleed red due to the dye used in the fluid they need for their biocomponents. Individual androids also come with varied pigmentation, freckles and other blemishes that make them look that much more realistic and unique between models.

Genetics and Reproduction

As machines androids can not reproduce and rely entirely on manufactures to produce more of their kind. Some models have been created as surrogate mothers so families can have their developing child around them as they grow and removes the risk of the surrogate mother developing attachment to the child, however,  this of course is not a means for the androids themselves to reproduce.

Growth Rate & Stages

Androids will stay the same unless altered or maintained, their components and skin is designed to last at least 4 generations which makes aging or other cosmetics purely optional and down to the wishes of the owner.
There have been lines of child androids from families unable to or not allowed to have children of their own, these models come with upgrade subscriptions which allow them to "grow" (The android will be taken in and have its parts replaced and cosmetics added to make it look older.)

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Their sensors make them capable of detecting far more with their senses than a human are capable of,  they are able to scan and record their surroundings, analyze smells and sounds and certain models can see and hear for a mile around them. Many also have food analyzers in their mouths which can tell the exact nutritional value of anything tested. They have thousands of micro sensors in their skin which allow them to register touch and measure temperature and pressure.
