Banai

The kingdom of Banai lies on the east coast of Dalkesh and is made up of tribes of wanderers, mainly Goliaths. The tribes are named for the great herds of beasts they follow, eating of their flesh, making clothing from their skins and pelts and crafting weapons from bone, tusk or antler. These tribes are largely peaceful, claiming no lands for their own instead going wherever the herd does. For each tribe the herd is sacred, they never take so much from them that the herd should suffer and they protect the herd vehemently should poachers or wandering hunters see them as their prey.
The sole permanent settlement of the Banai peoples is the capital of Tebun, in the heartlands of the great plains. It is here that the King sits, elected from the various tribal leaders and here that they govern the populations of the herds should any one grow too large.
