Kussen

Official capital of Gremon where the official governing seat of the duchy sits although neither the Highlands or Lowlands King sit here. The city is split between an overground city and an underground dwarven hold.

Demographics

Roughly 40% dwarven who mainly reside in the underground lower city there is a heavy presence of dwarves in the upper city. The upper city is mainly human.

Defences

The upper city is walled giving little option for any attacker. The lower city is defended by giant runeforged doors in addition to many chokepoints that the dwarves are experts at defending.

Industry & Trade

Massive dwarven mines pump out silver and Orichalcum allowing the lower city to be incredibly wealthy. Whilst the upper city sees little of this wealth it does subside on jewellers and banking.

Geography

The city sits on a small mountain at the end of a ridge of the Arrowtooth Mountains that just out into the surrounding hills. As such it overlooks large rolling hills whilst also being connected to the mountains.

Natural Resources

The city sits atop a large silver deposit and a large vein of Orichalcum that runs through the mountains nearby.
