Tabaxi
The fast, agile catfolk common to southern and eastern Dalkesh.
They are at first glance rather terrifying. Their predatory eyes roam across you making you feel the relationship is one of predator and prey. They have sharp fangs and feline claws. Their nature is one of distraction, losing interest in a task as soon as it becomes tedious or something more interesting takes their attention.
A contract with a tabaxi is worth as much as the paper on which it is wrote. -Amusi saying.
Basic Information
Ecology and Habitats
Tabaxi prefer environments with lots of verticality with which to escape any danger. As such they are found mostly in forests, rocky outcrops and in cities.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Tabaxi are carnivores and will only eat fruit and vegetables in dire circumstances. Given their carnivorous biology they can eat meat raw, though the nutritional value of cooked meat sees them more often than not eat cooked meat, so long as it is someone else that has taken the time to cook.
They are one of the only species to not suffer the Curse of Cannibalism.

Civilization and Culture
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
The idea of property is alien to the tabaxi. If a house is empty, it is free to sleep in, if food is unguarded it is free to take. That is not to say they will share what they have. They are oddly protective of seemingly random objects depending entirely on their everchanging moods. One day they may claw a man's eye out for attempting to steal a trinket, the next, would watch that same trinket taken without reaction or interest.
