The Hinterlands

At the Northeast of the continent of Irona the land becomes a cold expanse of frosted hills and thickets of pine and heather bordering the Hinwald and The World's Edge Mountains. 
The Hinterlands cover the eastern part of Holzreik and the Moskavite territory on the continent. The land is hard to farm and the people are hardy.
