Vanda Wolf

In the barren, rocky lowlands of northern Baldaland sits a region in which electrical storms ravage the landscape. In this alien place stalks a predator warped by the shifting winds of magic. Fur as black as night the wolf pack stalks silently bar the occasional crackle of lightning between fangs or claws.   Named for the legend of Johannes Vanda's fall. The inventor of the lightning crank which, upon its first demonstration to the academia of Tristromm in 814 T.A., exploded in lightning killing him and destroying the machine in the process.

Keen Hearing. The wolf has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing.   Pack Tactics. The wolf has advantage on melee attack rolls against a creature if at least one of the wolf's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

Actions

Multiattack: The wolf makes two bite attacks.   Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) piercing damage and 6 (1d10) lightning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or become grappled.   Lightning Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/80. Hit: 20 (3d10 + 3) lightning damage.   Discharge. If the wolf is grappling a target it can discharge lightning into its prey causing the creature to take 33 (6d10) lightning damage.   Phase (Bonus Action). If the wolf moves 10 ft in a straight line it can use its bonus action to teleport up to 30 ft continuing on the straight line.  

Reactions

Static Shroud. If a creature makes a melee or touch attack against the wolf it can use its reaction to cause the attacker to take 11 (2d10) lighting damage.
