Bilorr
The continent of Bilorr lies to the north of the sea that gave its name, and to the west of Zaniq. Centuries ago, much of Bilorr's southern region was ruled by the Livokian Empire, but it was overthrown and its central regions, now known as the Livokian Territories, are now controlled by infighting warlords. To the west, the human-dominated kingdom of Modazya, known for its paladins, also faces internal strife from its rebelling princes and princesses. East of Livokia, Elonn has prospered from river and sea trade, and has done battle with Tarim and Xuta, but faces problems from hags and wyverns. To its north is the vast Matalas Forest, a densely wooded region inhabited by wood elves, firbolgs, and the occasional fey.
Nearby, the awe-inspiring giants rule the hierarchical Umanar Empire, only the latest in a line of giant civilizations that predate recorded history. Were it not for political disunity, isolationism, and natural boundaries, the Umanar might have reclaimed the dominance over the continent that they formerly had. West of Umanar is Falari, the largest elven nation today, and its magically adept merchants. Falari is ruled by two monarchs, advised by a council of elders. In the northwest, a massive island chain known as the Thusen Archipelago has a number of kingdoms, and is home to many humans, sea elves, goblins, and minotaurs. The Thuseni are, unsurprisingly, known for sailing and trade along the coast and in the Bilorran Sea.
The Caberian Empire was formed a few decades ago, when several emirs in northwest Duray and southwest Bilorr united to defend against Qista and Modazya. Since then, peace was made with the former, but not the latter. Caberia is known for its libraries and universities, which specialize in philosophy, alchemy, and supernatural zoology. The capital, large and prosperous, has countless temples dedicated to all the gods, the most major of which are guarded by sphinxes. In addition, Caberia has begun interregional commerce, exchanging goods as far north as the Thusen islands and as far south as the Shobre Empire.
