Sloop Group session 0 - Leaving Waterdeep
General Summary
After their travels to and adventures around Phandelver, our remaining intrepid heroes traveled on to Waterdeep. After talking to a man called Sondar Lackman there they discovered an issue in the Copper District of Waterdeep that needed investigation. It seemed a plague was affecting the poor people of the district. Our heroes decided they would help out (for a fee). During their inquiries about this the party met a dwarf merchant called Rurik Amberforge who asked them to retrieve an item of his which he hoped the party would come across at some point.
The party managed to complete their tasks, tracked down the villains and cured the poor people of the Copper District of the malady which afflicted them. As part of their reward the Lady Mara Blackwood offered the party her patronage and protection whenever the heroes found themselves in Waterdeep. After returning the item he asked for, an ornate key, to Rurik Amberforge he spoke to the heroes to ask if they were interested in helping him, further adventures and monetary rewards. The party agreed to hep Rurik and stepped through the door in his Warehouse. They found themselves in a new city called Bard's Gate!Rewards Granted
