Session XI: Baltron's Beacon - Part II - Storming the Keep Report

General Summary

The party enters the keep. It seems Leptor was awaiting the party and had prepared the Keep's entrance with Carrion Crawlers, Archers, a Mimic and boiling oil. The party makes it through and run into Vampire mists and a Will-O-Wisp. The party loses the aid of Irval, "Gyruga", and "Harry whom they hired as mercenaries who die fighting off the Vampire mists. The party makes their firt run in with Leptor on the first floor. He is captured by a simple hold spell, but the party is tricked into letting him drink a potion, which he uses to escape. He flees the area.
